Following a talk about Women in Intelligence to pupils at the prestigious Kent school for girls Melody presented the library and Nick with a copy of her best spelling non-fiction book, A Spitfire Girl.
Melody's biography of wartime Air Transport Auxiliary First Officer and pilot Mary Wilkins Ellis also included the story of Mary's pioneering colleague and famous Benenden School pupil and ATA aviatrix Captain Lettice Curtis.
